2015 Global Health & Innovation Conference

The 2015 Global Health & Innovation Conference will be held on March 28-29, 2015, and annually convenes over 2,200 leaders, change-makers, students and professionals from all fields of global health, international development, and social entrepreneurship. The Global Health & Innovation Conference offers a wonderful educational experience, as well as a terrific opportunity to engage with other students and professionals within diverse global health fields. S.T.R.I.V.E Scholarships

The Mu Gamma Chapter of Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority Inc. is awarding two S.T.R.I.V.E Scholarships for $300 each. The application deadline for the first scholarship is Monday, February 2, 2015. Any current undergraduate student at UCD who identifies as a woman, has a cumulative GPA greater than 2.6, and demonstrates financial need, may apply. The application deadline for the second scholarship is Monday, June 1, 2015. Any incoming first year student who identifies as a woman, demonstrates financial need, and has submitted a Statement of Intent to Register (SIR), may apply. Kellogg Biological Station Summer Research Experience for Undergraduates
Michigan State University

This program is 12 weeks long and will run from May 18-August 7, 2015.

REUs will work with their mentor to write a blog post about their KBS experience, create and maintain a fully annoted dataset, and produce a professional research poster that will be presented at the KBS Summer Undergraduate Symposium.

The program dates are May 17 to Jul 25, 2015. The application deadline is April 1, 2015
