Fun Fact: I don’t know how to swim, but I’m part of the scuba diving club… oh, the irony.

Hobbies: singing, watching animated movies, shopping, cooking, sleeping, chinese calligraphy, learning through others’ experience/stories, etc… I have a lot of hobbies that are all over the place.

Why I Joined ASBMB: I joined ASBMB because I agree with the purpose/mission of ASBMB. This organization helps undergraduates interested in science connect with fellow peers, faculty, companies, and other resources on campus. I entered UC Davis not knowing where to find resources that aligned with my interests, and was pleasantly surprised when I joined ASBMB. The people I’ve been fortunate enough to meet and the many events we’ve organized are all very dear to me.

Fun Fact: I can speak four different languages: English, Vietnamese, Chaozhou, and Mandarin. I also own a cute Australian shepherd mix and a long haired miniature dachshund!

Hobbies: I enjoy traveling to different parts of the world and eating savory foods.

Why I Joined ASBMB: I joined ASBMB to develop leadership skills and to reaffirm my passions in the sciences, specifically biochemistry and molecular biology! I also enjoyed the people that I have met because of this wonderful organization!

Why I Joined ASBMB: I joined ASBMB to gain leadership experience, build connections, learn different skill sets, and meet people who share similar interests as I do.

Why I Joined ASBMB: My brother was the historian for this club 2 years ago, so I was introduced to this club by him. I liked the idea of being part of a group to help provide resources to other students and contribute to the future of the club.

Hobbies: I love people watching! Observing the interactions around me and trying to deduce conclusions like Sherlock Holmes is the goal! I also watch a bunch of superhero shows, just ask me.

Fun Fact: Camille is not my first name and contrary to what I look like, I’m 100% full Filipino. I also recently travelled to Asia by myself for the first time and it was such a fun experience that I’ll hope to do again soon.
