​Fun Fact: I like to listen to Broadway and musicals when I study.
Why I Decided to Pursue Biochemistry: It’s interesting to me because if you boil it down, biology and chemistry make up the basis of everything. However comma, organic chemistry definitely ain't it.

Why I Decided to Pursue Biochemistry: I came into UC Davis as an engineering major due to my past experience involving architecture. However, I did not enjoy taking physics during my senior year in high school so I switched to biochemistry since I really wanted to stay in the biology and chemistry area.

Why I Decided to Pursue Biochemistry: I'm interested in medicine, but I understand the world through the most basic principles. Since biochem is the basis of all life I chose to study Biochem as a way to understand life.

Why I Decided to Pursue Biochemistry: Since I was in elementary school, science has been the only subject which I have ever truly been passionate for; the reason I selected biochemistry as my major is because I am interested in pursuing a career in drug development or cancer research in the future.

Why I Decided to Pursue Biochemistry: My love for biology has been present throughout all of my time spent attending school. I enjoy learning about life and questioning why things exist, even down to the molecular level

Why I Decided to Pursue Biochemistry: Biology was always my favorite subject in school and I think learning how humans work on a cellular or molecular level is really interesting.

Why I Decided to Pursue Biochemistry: Biology and chemistry always intrigued me the most throughout school, and being able to draw from the the two to understand how life functions around us appealed to me.

Hobbies: Trying new things; Listening to music (language doesn't matter, as long as it sounds good, I will listen to it); Reading; Watching shows mostly mystery/true- crime shows (I don't why but I just like the mystery aspect of them)
Fun Fact: I can speak 3 languages- Hindi, English, and Punjabi!
Why I Decided to Pursue Biochemistry: Biology and Chemistry have always interested me in high school, so, naturally, I took Biochemistry as my major. It is quite interesting to know how our bodies work, how they are adapted to fighting diseases, and how certain drugs can have certain effects on our bodies, etc.
If you were a crayon, what color would you be:  Royal Purple with Ruby Red!

Hobbies: I like to sleep for fun mostly, but occasionally I'll read autobiographies and fantasy novels.
Fun Fact: My dance studio put me in one of their ads and I continued to appear in the ad for two years after I left. It was actually kind of cool. 
Why I Decided to Pursue Biochemistry: In high school, I really enjoyed my biology class, especially when focused on the microscopic level. When I found that my chemistry class wasn't too difficult I decided to combine the two together so I could focus on the intricate reactions that must happen to sustain life
If you were a crayon, what color would you be:  I would be a 3-pronged crayon: purple, black, and baby blue. My favorite colours :)
